Dabhosa Waterfall is situated in the Dabhosa village on the Jawhar-Silvassa road which is 18 km from Jawhar, in Thane District of Maharastra State, India. Dabhosa waterfall is one of the highest waterfalls in Maharashtra. To top it all this is one of the very few waterfalls which is perennial. The crater shaped bowl into which the waterfall cascades and the lake at the bottom of the waterfall is truly a spectacular site for the urbanite.
The waterfall is in its full gush during monsoon and the weather is very nice almost all through the year. There is a campsite nearby which attracts lots of tourists for night stay. Also, Adventure sports including kayaking, rappelling, laddering, valley crossing, and zip line, trekking and fishing are available.
